Powering Abu Dhabi’s Living World Model
The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy and Analog partner to build the world’s first living energy network.
ADIPEC 2025, Abu Dhabi, UAE – November 2025
The Abu Dhabi Department of Energy (DoE) and Analog have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to advance Physical Intelligence across the energy and water sectors, powering the next phase of Abu Dhabi’s Living World Model.
Analog’s World Model is a living digital twin of the physical world, a continuously learning system that unifies data from people, places, sensors, and machines into a shared understanding of reality. It bridges the gap between digital intelligence and the physical world, allowing systems to shape their environment.
In practice, this means an energy network that can predict demand surges before they happen, coordinate autonomous robot fleets to detect leaks or inefficiencies, and optimize water distribution in response to environmental data. Each element becomes part of a living World Model that learns from every interaction, making the grid safer, cleaner, and more efficient with each passing day.
A Living Energy System
Through the Analog World Model, Abu Dhabi’s energy network gains a continuously evolving reflection of its own behavior, a living intelligence that unifies heterogenous data sources into one coherent system of awareness.
At its core is Ana, the Analog Neural Agent. Designed to operate across both digital and physical domains, Ana interprets signals from across the energy landscape to predict, coordinate, and optimize performance in real time.

Reimagining the Future Grid
The MoU establishes a framework to pioneer Physical Intelligence and enhance AI capabilities within the AD.WE platform, strengthening operational efficiency, sustainability, and resilience across the energy and water sectors.
Together, the DoE and Analog will develop predictive maintenance systems, deploy Analog robotics for inspection and monitoring, and enable adaptive intelligence that makes decisions where they matter most, in the physical world itself.
The partnership also includes the creation of a Physical Intelligence Laboratory, a collaborative environment where robotics, data, and simulation converge to pioneer new approaches to intelligent infrastructure and sustainable energy management.

Physical Intelligence at City Scale
Dubai, GITEX 2025 - October 2025 - The Department of Municipalities and Transport of Abu Dhabi (DMT) and Analog have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to bring Physical Intelligence to the heart of Abu Dhabi’s public infrastructure.
Physical Intelligence on Four Legs
Abu Dhabi, UAE, October 29, 2025 - Analog and Boston Dynamics today announced an exclusive regional alliance to deploy Physical Intelligence across the UAE, beginning with Boston Dynamics’ Spot robots. Initial use focuses on practical outcomes including park inspections, environmental and accessibility monitoring, and preventive maintenance that improves everyday livability and operational responsiveness.
